A couple weeks ago on the beach we started talking about how glass is made of melted sand. It blew my kids minds. When we got back to the house we went strait to Youtube and checked out glass blowing. What a crazy thing to take a blob of melted sand and spin and blow and (many more steps) it turns into a vase. I would love to try it someday!!
