Weeks ago I had the big kids paint blue and green colors onto paper. They could make what ever pattern, texture, lines, shapes they wanted. I let the paintings dry and used the paper to accent the invitation to the tea party we had last weekend.
Then when it came to organizing the party I found left over painted paper and made little signs to identify some of the different food we served. I simply wrote the descriptions on the painted paper, cut them out, and taped them to a tooth pick.
