The cardinals continue to come back at the same times each day, but I’ve given up for now on the snow picture. I can’t get close enough with the lenses that I currently have for my camera. And the snow that is left is now spring snow – icy/slushy/dirty and no longer fluffy, picturesque and magical.
Maybe I’ll get a better lens before next snow season.
However, as luck would have it, a local artist was asking around looking forĀ some work this week. I was able to commission a piece of artwork of “a cardinal on a fur tree in the snow.” Do you think this will tide Nonna over until next winter?
